Dear Friends and Family,

We first want to thank you for supporting us over the years. None of this could have been possible without your help. As you know, the Down Syndrome Academy has been closed since August of 2020. Our tuition came to a halt however, our expenses did not. We’ve been operating at a $16,000 deficit each month without any income.

This week we were able to bring our students back and we are on our way to pick up where we left off. Our goal is to continue with Rosa’s vision, in providing lifelong education & learning opportunities for teens and adults with Down Syndrome through education, socialization, and community outreach.

We’re starting out strong this year, and we’ve got a great mission-driven team behind us.

We’re reaching out today because as a family or friend of someone who has Down Syndrome, you know how important the Down Syndrome Academy is to them, you’ve probably seen first-hand the regress that most have suffered due to us having to close our doors due to Covid.

We hope to never have to close our doors again unless it’s to open a much bigger and better door.

We are kicking off our grand re-opening with our first fundraiser, a plaque in honor of our Founder, Rosa Rocha. This plaque will be hung in the hallway of our Down Syndrome Academy and displayed at our annual Cinderella Ball each year.

We have different levels of support, all of which are tax-deductible.

Platinum: $1,000

Gold: $750

Silver: $500

Bronze: $300

You can also set up a recurring amount until you reach your desired level of support.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

We really appreciate your continued support.
